DBB stands for Double Block and Bleed: two independent seals with a bleed cavity between them. You verify seal integrity under full pressure without shutdown. We pioneered compact DBB designs that save space, weight and fugitive emissions.
Founded in 1998 in Houston, DBB-Valve started as a ball-valve repair shop for Gulf Coast refineries. Today we run 42,000 m² of forging, machining, cladding and cryogenic testing in Houston, Rotterdam and Singapore.
Our obsession: bubble-tight shutoff at 15,000 psi, at -196°C LNG and at 550°C steam. Every DBB valve is 100% hydro + gas + seat + bleed tested, with digital birth certificate and QR traceability.
We supply Exxon, Shell, TotalEnergies contractors, LNG terminals in Qatar and Australia, hydrogen corridors in EU, and FPSOs in Brazil. 98.7% on-time delivery, MTBF > 28 years.

Read more →Double Block and Bleed valve has two seating surfaces that block flow from both ends with a bleed to vent the cavity. It replaces two block valves + bleed, saving weight and leak paths.
DBB: one self-relieving + one double-piston seat. DIB-1: both double-piston (both block). DIB-2: one double-piston, one self-relieving reversed. We offer all three per API 6D.
